Configuration Manager Application Deployment Not Visible in Software Center
Issue
An application deployment does not appear in Software Center on a client device.
In many cases, the deployment is not evaluated by the client and there may be no corresponding entries relating
to the application in the following log files:
AppIntentEval.log
AppDiscovery.log
AppEnforce.log
Cause
Multiple factors can prevent an application from appearing in Software Center. The issue may be related to client
policy, content distribution, deployment targeting, deployment requirements, or application approval settings.
Resolution
Perform the following checks:
Refresh Software Center by pressing F5.
Run the following Configuration Manager client actions:
Machine Policy Retrieval & Evaluation Cycle
Application Deployment Evaluation Cycle
Confirm the application content has been successfully distributed to all required distribution points.
Review the deployment type requirements and verify that the client device satisfies all configured
requirements.
Check whether the application appears in Software Center on another device. This can help determine whether
the issue is client-specific or deployment-related.
Verify that the target device or user is a member of the collection to which the application was deployed.
If the deployment is targeted to a device collection, check whether the option "An administrator
must approve a request for this application on the device" is enabled. Application deployment
with this setting enabled do not appear in Software Center for self-service installation. This is by design.
The installation must be initiated by an administrator using the admin console.
